Do you know what cardio or cardio or cardiovascular health is? Cardio is a combining form meaning “heart,” used in the formation of compound words and cardiovascular health is related to the heart. It is very important to exercise for about 30 minutes to give your heart a workout. The longer you work out, the more healthier you will be. If you work out everyday then you have much less of a chance of having any health or heart problems. There are may benefits to working out your heart. Some of these benefits would be: diabetes, coronary heart disease, heart failure, and a stroke. It is very important to work out your heart for many reasons. If you work out your heart then, it will get stronger and healthier. Working out also helps pump more blood through the body with every beat. People who do not exercise have more of a chance of getting heart disease.
There are many different types of exercises for the heart. A type of exercise for the heart would be the aerobic exercise. When you go running or go ride your bike at the park, it will cause your heart rate to raise and you will start to breathe harder.It will also help you blood pressure and the stress on your heart skyrocket. Swimming is another exercise that will and can help your heart. Swimming helps not only your heart but it will also help your bones and joints. One more simple exercise would be climbing stairs. It has been estimated that if you climb stairs for at least 10 minutes that it will result in having a less chance of getting a heart attack.
If you want to live a healthier life all you have to do is exercise often and eat healthier. You can go on walks or cut the junk food. Sometimes you might be exercising and you will not notice. For example, when you are walking to class, climbing the stairs to go to your other class, and lets not forget about our P.E class. Physical education in school can also help you live a healthier life. In school we do the typical exercises. We run, climb stairs, and if your school has a pool you sometimes even swim. Other exercise that they do in P.E would be jumping jacks, push ups, sit ups, etc. Since summer is coming up we have to make sure to keep healthy and to not stop exercising. It does not mean to go to the gym and be there for hours. You can do the simple exercises. What I plan on doing for the summer is to at least go on walks or a 30 minute jog. I can go out to the park and ride my back or play a sport. Swimming would be a good exercise over the summer since it is going to be hot.
